The transition
No — and this is the biggest myth we bust every day. Your teaching experience IS the corporate experience, just framed wrong. You've been doing instructional design, project management, stakeholder communication, and data analysis for years. We help you reframe it in the language the corporate world understands and pays for.
90% of our members who follow the roadmap land a role within 90 days. Some go faster — we've seen teachers land in 30 days. The timeline varies most by target role. EdTech CSM roles often land in 30–45 days while UX Research roles may take 75–90.
Yes — when your resume is positioned correctly. Companies aren't looking for "corporate experience," they're looking for specific capabilities. "Managed IEP team meetings with 6 stakeholders" rewritten as "facilitated cross-functional stakeholder alignment" means the exact same thing — but the second version gets interviews.
It's not too late. More experience often means a stronger application. A 20-year teaching veteran has a deeper skills portfolio than a 3-year teacher. Our oldest member who made the transition was 58, and she landed a $92k Instructional Design role within 75 days.
Because applying with a teacher resume to corporate roles almost always fails — not because of your experience, but because the language doesn't translate. Our resume rewrite fixes this. Members who applied on their own with no results routinely start getting interviews within 1–2 weeks of the rewrite going live.

Salary & compensation
Our members average a $47,000 salary increase. It varies by role — EdTech CSM roles see $15–30k increases, Instructional Designers see $30–60k, UX Researchers and PMs often see $50–80k increases. The skills audit gives you salary data specific to your background and target roles.
Always. Teachers are notoriously underpaid and often don't negotiate — a habit that carries over and costs them in their first corporate role. Our data shows teachers leave an average of $12,000 on the table without negotiation support. The Accelerator includes a negotiation guide; VIP Coaching includes live 1:1 support through the negotiation itself.
Yes, and we help you model this. Most corporate roles come with 401k matching (typically 3–6%), health benefits that are often better than teacher plans, and sometimes stock or profit sharing. When you run the full numbers, the salary difference almost always outweighs the pension consideration — especially given how many states have moved to reduced pension systems in recent years.

The program
Absolutely — and the majority of our members do exactly that. The program is designed in focused 30–60 minute sessions you can do evenings and weekends. The skills audit takes 10 minutes. The resume and LinkedIn work happens asynchronously with your coach. You don't have to quit before you have something lined up.
That's exactly what the skills audit and first coaching session are for. Most teachers feel this way. By the end of the assessment, you have a clear top 3 ranked by fit, earning potential, and timeline. Most people are surprised by how many options fit them well.
Sessions are 45 minutes via Zoom, scheduled at your convenience. Your coach is matched to you based on your target field — so if you're going into Instructional Design, your coach made that exact transition. Sessions are recorded so you can review them, and your coach is available for quick questions via message between sessions.
Explorer members get 3 months of community access. Accelerator gets 6 months. VIP Coaching gets 12 months. Course materials, resume templates, and interview guides are yours to keep forever once you access them.
🛡
Guarantees & refunds
If you complete all coaching sessions, finish the course materials, apply to at least 20 roles using our process, and don't receive a job offer within 6 months — we refund 100% of your investment. No questions, no hassle. We've never had to issue a refund under these terms, because the process works.
The Accelerator has a 14-day refund window if you haven't yet begun your resume rewrite or used any coaching sessions. Once the resume work begins, refunds aren't available — but we will work with you personally to make sure you succeed.
